01/06/2022

My American cousin RAF-VR Pilot Officer Robert Leo Hage, from Montana, volunteered to fly for the RAF before the U.S. entered WWII serving in 26 OTU. It was important to him to make a difference in this world and he chose action. He piloted a Wellington Bomber, successful in their mission to Bremen but were shot down on 14/09/1942. He was KIA at age 22 over Holland and is buried in Amsterdam at New Eastern Cemetery. RIP cousin Robert Leo! Your Hage family is very proud of you!
