Bomber Command Remembrance Wall

Noel & Bobbie Burton

F/Lt Noel Burton served with 106 Squadron Jan-June 1943 after being stationed at 30 OTU where he met LACW Barbara Davies, who opened the Dental Unit at RAF Hixon. He returned there as a Flying Instructor. They married in May 1944 and after the war, both returned to Rhodesia from where he had volunteered as a young man. We were proud to attend the unveiling with him, 10 years ago. We will remember them, his crew who he always remembered and all those brave persons serving in Bomber Command.
