Born 22 Jan 1922, South Wales. Joined as a RAFVR in May 1940, then air gunner training Oct 1942. You and your crew left RAF Scampton on Lancaster ED989, 17 Aug 1943 to Peenemunde, you did not come home. You were 21 years old. As a family we are immensely proud of you, what you achieved and your dedication to serving your country. May you and your fellow service men and women never be forgotten. We will always remember you, forever in our hearts. Rest easy lovely lad, Son of Wales xx
