My Dad served for 22 years as a Rockape. Joining as a National Serviceman, he left the RAF in 1976, his final unit being 1(F) Harrier Sqn at Wittering. His stories that I grew up listening to are the reason I joined the RAF also. 48 years service between the two of us, he passed away 21 years ago last week. I miss him all the time and hope I still make him proud now.
